We welcomed Hogwart’s Newest Student with a DIY Harry Potter Baby Shower! Witchcraft and wizardry were abound on this fatefully glorious day filled with love and welcoming for Baby “Wizard” Conor. As guests arrived to Platform 9 ¾, they were sorted appropriately and given their wand. An obvious right of passage for any young wizard. From floating candles in the “dining hall” to greeting for Myrtle, guests were surprised at every corner! Games included baby bingo and late-night diapers (hysterical). And to top it all off, Honeydukes was in business with a full candy bar! Beware of the every flavour…

“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where Nature may heal and cheer and give strength to body and soul alike.”   – John Muir, The Yosemite, 1912.   A Maine road trip through Belfast, Camden, and Rockland Maine is a great way to spend a day any time of year. The Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse is a great final destination, starting from Bangor. Do you recognize any of these sites? Comment below!

One beautiful February day in 2012,  my friend Melissa and I took my old Dodge Durango for a four wheel drive adventure through Millinocket, Maine. We took some of the logging roads so we could see Mount Katahdin.  We explored, we had a beautiful sunset, and it was a great day overall. As I’m writing this in 2016, I couldn’t even tell you where we drove. But it was beautiful!
