Dealing with Grief. Well, pardon my french, but it’s been a really SHITTY week. The Universe just seems to keep giving us the old one-two punch to the gut, and pretty relentlessly. But, what we must all remember is THIS TOO WILL PASS. Come on, say it with me. THIS TOO WILL PASS. (Or maybe it won’t. but at least we’ll always have boxes of wine? and the sunshine? and the earth? These two emails showed up in my inbox this morning, and the timing was perfect. I’ve been noticing the wrinkles start to set in in my selfies and I’ve become more aware that time is fluttering away at a pace faster than I am comfortable with. I’m fighting with myself to live in each moment fully, and to experience life as it happens while also preparing for the future, and growing old gracefully. Now, however my wedding season is coming to a close, and…

A Buddhist Tip to Being Free Link to Elephant journal I love it when an article just speaks to me. This article sort of echos my brain when it comes to my plans for the next year. Now’s the time when I start thinking about my plans for the new  year, evaluating my life, and making goals for the coming year. This year has been rocky at best, my plans kind of completely thrown off kilter and being forced to change direction in a storm has made me reevaluate my goals and aspirations, and I’m planning all sorts of exciting things…

Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes was a fantastic read and you should definitely buy it. Read more below 🙂

There’s truly NOTHING I enjoy more in my life than flying, reading a book, and having a glass or two of wine. It’s the only time I can truly detach, and get lost in another world. That being said, there’s nothing WORSE than being stuck on a plane with a crappy book. I love books that are inspiring and adventurous, that make me feel like I want to run a marathon and be the best version…
